In the southern French town or Arles this renowned festival, in its twentieth year, attracts international artists for the over two months of lectures, exhibitions, symposiums, debates and awards. The guest artistic director of this year’s festival is Christian Lacroix who curated the exhibition Still Life at Vogue. It is Lacroix’s take on the strongest still life photos published in Vogue from the 1920’s until now and includes Erwan Frotin’s earliest commission for French Vogue.
