Okay there are just some fashion week shows that cannot be ignored, not for just greatness or WTF moments but for sheer obscurity. Alexander Wang is just about the most adorable man alive -no contest. But we were a bit perplexed by some looks from this collection. Our absolute favorite thing is mixing up, mismatching genres, materials and ideals. However, jersey paired with silk or leather was something interesting. Below are our favorite looks -we appreciate his incorporation of color (it’s clearly going to be very colorful next spring!) but we still loved all of the black pieces best. P.S. -we just heard a style rumor that riding pants and head wraps/scarves are the new…and then it popped right up on the runway in the third look here. Nothing in fashion happens naturally, spontaneously or by accident I suppose.
